CISA “Most Secure Election” Declaration Issued Without Forensic Audit (US)

CISA Director Christopher Krebs declared the 2020 election “the most secure in American history” without conducting or commissioning a forensic audit of the election systems CISA’s own July 2020 pre-election report had identified as vulnerable – including voter registration databases, ballot programming systems, vote aggregation systems, and election websites. This declaration was used to preemptively delegitimize post-election scrutiny and was disseminated as an official government assessment.
