Secretary of State Raffensperger’s Failure to Act on Senate Subcommittee Findings (GA)

Established Fact

The Georgia Senate Subcommittee on Elections, chaired by Sen. William Ligon, issued a formal December 17, 2020 report concluding the election “should not be certified” due to systemic fraud and irregularities (Finding No. 9). Secretary Raffensperger received these findings and took no corrective action. When asked what the Secretary did with the subcommittee’s report, Sen. Ligon responded: “He did nothing.” The report was also withheld from Congress in the Secretary’s January 6, 2021 Congressional letter.
