Obstruction of Senate Subpoenas for Router Data and EMS Servers (AZ)

Established Fact

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors systematically defied Arizona State Senate subpoenas for router data and Splunk logs needed to determine external access to election systems. Only one of two subpoenaed EMS servers was produced. A settlement was ultimately required in lieu of court-compelled compliance, and that settlement contained an extraordinary provision requiring Senate President Fann to notify the Attorney General that “no further investigation was warranted” – effectively weaponizing the settlement to foreclose further scrutiny.
