There are 435 members of the U.S. House of Representatives. If we obtain 218+ co-sponsors for this bill in the U.S. House, it is guaranteed to pass once it has been put up to a vote. Please contact your Representative to urge them to co-sponsor Congressman Session's MESA bill.
Of course, the MESA bill would still need the support of 51 U.S. Senators. Technically, U.S. Senators cannot co-sponsor U.S. House bills, but they can issue statements of support for the legislation. Please encourage your U.S. Senators to issue a public statement in support of Congressman Session's MESA bill.
