Targeting of Sitting Georgia Legislators’ Core Political Speech (GA)

The Election Integrity Partnership (EIP), operating at CISA’s request, tracked and categorized core political speech from Georgia Rep. Jody Hice and then-candidate Marjorie Taylor Greene about Georgia’s 2020 election administration as “delegitimization” and actionable “disinformation.” These tickets were routed through the EIP pipeline to platforms, with the practical effect of suppressing or downgrading statements by elected officials and candidates about their own state’s election procedures during an active contest.
