Suppression of Verified Local News Reporting – Absentee Ballots Found in Ditch (WI)

Established Fact

The EIP engaged in a rapid-response campaign to mitigate the digital reach of factual, local news reporting from WBAY Wisconsin regarding absentee ballots discovered dumped in a ditch in Greenville, Outagamie County. The incident was categorized as a “mail dumping narrative” to be suppressed. The content being suppressed was a local news broadcast – primary journalism – about a documented law enforcement matter involving physical ballots. The EIP’s intervention denied the public access to unvarnished primary reporting about a concrete physical irregularity with direct relevance to the election’s chain of custody.
