ESS DS200/DS200 Voting Machines Contained Active 4G Wireless Modems – Connected to Internet on Election Night (WI)

Established Fact

The OSC found that ESS voting machines deployed in Wisconsin contain 4G wireless modems enabling internet connectivity. At least one Wisconsin municipality admitted its machines were connected to the internet on election night, purportedly to transmit vote data to county clerks. All Green Bay voting machines were ESS machines connected to the secret Wi-Fi access point documented in WI.EVS.SN-01. Separately, CyFir forensic analysis of ESS DS200 machines from a county near Antrim County, Michigan found that each had a Verizon cellular wireless modem installed and active at power-up, configured to transmit election results to a private IP address accessible only via the public internet or VPN – directly contradicting Dominion’s and ESS’s public representations of air-gapped, offline operation.
