Disputed Fact
In a memo from former MI State Senator Ruth Johnson to her colleagues in the MI Senate requesting subpoena authority, the former MI SOS asserted
” I estimate that, conservatively, over 800,000 absentee ballot applications were mailed to individuals who are likely not eligible to vote in Michigan. Already, the Secretary of State has received over 500,000 of these applications back as undeliverable. I have also received hundreds of examples of applications sent to non-eligible individuals in my legislative office, including applications sent to those who are underage, non-citizens, moved out-of-state, or deceased. ”
