“1/1/1900” Placeholder Birthdate – Systematic Bypass of QVF Validation at TCF Center (MI)

Multiple poll challengers present at the TCF Center Absentee Voter Counting Boards in Detroit on November 3-4, 2020, provided sworn testimony that election workers were manually entering thousands of unverified ballots into electronic poll books for voters who were not listed in the QVF. In each instance, workers entered a placeholder birthdate of January 1, 1900 – a date used to bypass the QVF’s automated validation requirement, which requires a legitimate date of birth to complete a voter entry. This conduct, if proven, constitutes a systemic and deliberate circumvention of the QVF’s identity-verification function, allowing votes to be credited to individuals who were not registered voters in the system.
