Missing Chain-of-Custody on Drop Box Ballots and Deleted Surveillance Footage (GA)

Established Fact

Fulton County deployed drop box infrastructure funded in part by approximately $6 million in CTCL grants. Forensic reviews identified over 100,000 ballots lacking legally required chain-of-custody transfer forms, particularly those retrieved from drop boxes. Video surveillance of nighttime ballot drop activity was reportedly deleted or of such poor quality as to be unusable for forensic verification. The State Election Board (SEB) referred related record failures to both the Georgia AG and the DOJ.
