Missing Server Security Logs Prior to 11:03 PM, Nov. 4, 2020 (MI)

Established Fact

All server security logs prior to 11:03 PM on November 4, 2020 – including all logs covering Election Day itself – were missing from the Antrim County EMS, destroying evidence of network connections and data transfers on and before election night. CyFIR forensic examiner Ben Cotton found anonymous remote logon activity on November 5 and November 17, 2020; Cotton concluded “it is likely that the same actor had access prior to November 4th.” Antrim County Clerk Sheryl Guy later admitted to deleting the records during a public meeting of the County Commissioners.
